The fifth biennial Audi Quattro Winter Games NZ are taking place during August and September 2017. Winter Olympic, Paralympic and X Games stars are heading to New Zealand’s Southern Alps once again for the first major championships of the season. Watch them compete for glory in freestyle skiing, snowboarding, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing and curling then enjoy our fun festival programme that will be bigger and better than ever. The Games are one of the world’s top five winter sports competitions and the only one in the southern hemisphere. They are also New Zealand’s largest recurring sports event. It’s a uniquely Kiwi experience that athletes, coaches, judges and spectators all rave about. The relaxed atmosphere, friendly people, sporting action and festival fun – it’s going to be the biggest party on southern snow…and it’s all free to watch! Volunteering opportunities:

Winter Games NZ are looking for volunteers to join the crew, 25 Aug- 10 Sept 2017 We are looking for a team of enthusiastic, reliable and friendly volunteers to be part of the Audi quattro Winter Games NZ 2017. Volunteers are the face, heart and soul of the Games and your involvement will help to ensure this event continues to be one of the world’s top five winter sports competitions. If you’re interested, sign up and fill in an online application now! We have a new online registration system now open, and although roles are not online yet for you to select from, we will contact you as soon as they are, and you’ll get priority choice if you are already registered.
